I am taking on Noosa Triathlon 2026

In November, I’m joining the Smiddy team at the 2026 Noosa Triathlon: an Olympic distance triathlon consisting of a 1,500m swim, 40km ride and 10km run, all in the name of cancer research.
But the real reason I'm doing this? My Mum.
In 2011, Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. In 2013, it progressed to secondary breast cancer. Since then, she has faced the ongoing reality of a disease that simply doesn't stop, yet neither does she. Watching her navigate this journey with courage, calmness and quiet determination continues to inspire me. She never complains. She just keeps going.
So this November, I will too.
1 in 2 adults will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime. It's a statistic that's easy to read and impossible to ignore when it's your Mum.
Every dollar I raise goes towards ground-breaking research at Mater into the causes, prevention, and treatment of cancer. Research that could one day change the story for someone else's Mum, Dad, partner, or child.
If Mum's strength has taught me anything, it's that showing up matters, even when it's hard.
Will you show up with me? A donation of any size would mean the world to me, and to her.
