Embracing the pink
After years of seeing this event, I've decided to join this Fun Run. It will be my first in over twenty years!I'm not being ambitious with my fundraising as it wasn't my reason for wanting to participate however it is a wonderful side benefit.
I have worked with three amazing women who have been very open about their breast cancer journey. One of whom died all too young.
We have come a long way but there is much left to do. Survival rates increase with earlier detection and better treatment, but work needs to continue until it's occurrence at all is a thing if the past.
