Walking for My Mum

Hi everyone, 
As some of you may be aware my mum recently passed away due to her breast cancer recurrence. The first time she had breast cancer was 2002 where she had a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. After 20+ years the tumour came back and it was the most aggressive Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC).
Treatment was not to cure but to reduce the size and slow the growth. It has been the most difficult time for us and I know others are going through similar experiences. With your support more clinical trials and treatment will be available for other breast cancer patients to prolong their life like it did with my mum. She survived 20+ years cancer free and one day we can hopefully be cancer free ❤️

I’m part of the International Women’s Day Fun Run!

I'm raising funds to support women with breast cancer now and into the future. 

By making a donation, you can play a part in improving treatments and care for women diagnosed with breast cancer.  

When you donate, you’re helping to support counselling services and supply practical items like mastectomy bras and wigs after surgery and chemotherapy.  

You’ll also be supporting world leading research that focuses on improving survival rates and working towards a world where ALL women diagnosed with breast cancer survive. 

Ultimately, you’ll help make life easier for women with breast cancer today and save more lives tomorrow.
