Mater Hill and their Chicks in Pink initiative mean so much to me, not just as a powerful force in the fight against breast cancer, but on a personal level as well.
Chicks in Pink represents compassion, strength, and unwavering support for those facing one of the hardest battles of their lives, and that mission sits close to my heart. My grandma is a breast cancer survivor, and seeing firsthand the courage it takes to endure treatment and recovery has shaped the way I view organisations like this.
Knowing that Mater Hill and Chicks in Pink provide care, hope, and practical support to patients and families makes their work feel incredibly personal to me. It’s a reminder that behind every ribbon and every fundraiser is a story like my grandma’s: full of resilience, love, and survival. 🩷
