Walking with Gratitude

My breast cancer journey has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. There were moments of fear, uncertainty, and days where everything felt overwhelming. But through it all, I was never alone.

The care, compassion, and support I received from places like Mater made such a difference during a time when it was needed most. The doctors, nurses, and staff don’t just treat patients — they support families, lift spirits, and help people find strength when they feel like they have none left.

Doing this walk is my small way of saying thank you. Thank you for the care, the kindness, and the hope that organisations like Mater give to so many people every single day.

I’m also walking to help raise funds so that others going through their own breast cancer journey can receive the same incredible support that I was lucky enough to have.

Every step is taken with gratitude, hope, and the belief that together we can continue to make a difference. 💗

I’m part of the International Women’s Day Fun Run!

I'm raising funds to support women with breast cancer now and into the future.
